Doctor Mario Improta (M.D.) is the founder of Beyond Smoker, the online platform dedicated to helping individuals quit smoking. A general surgeon with a diverse international background, Mario has practiced across Europe, South America and South Africa, treating thousands of patients.

For 15 years, Mario was a smoker himself. His turning point came when he realized the irony of advising his patients to quit smoking while he was still bound by the addiction. Driven by a deep commitment to resolve this contradiction, he embarked on an extensive research journey. He delved into the scientific literature on smoking cessation, seeking the most effective methods to conquer this challenging addiction.
